OUR JOURNEY

Three founding phases

第1創業期
1973 – 2000

First founding period

ONE RICKSHAW

A used clothing sorting business that began with a single handcart. At the age of 15, Makoto Kimura entered the family business of sorting used clothing in the former City of Yono. He visited wholesale districts in Nippori to develop business relationships. In 1973, it was incorporated as Kimura Textile Co., Ltd., marking the company's founding and laying the foundation for the business.

2001 – 2025

Second founding period

Cross the ocean

In 2001, we established an MF corporation in Penang, Malaysia, marking the full-scale commencement of our overseas expansion. We built a unique supply chain where textile resources collected in Japan were processed and sold at our own factory in Malaysia. In 2007, we changed our company name to Kimurasenii Co., Ltd. and relocated our headquarters to Kazo. Together with many colleagues across borders, we have built a global business foundation.

Third Founding Period

ENJOY FREE STYLE

Changing our company name to Marvelous Frontier and adopting "ENJOY FREE STYLE" as our corporate mission, we embark on a new stage. Through the development of three business pillars—foundation, value creation, and future—we will create new possibilities for resource circulation and expand them to the world.

FOUNDER’S LEGACY

Founder's Story

It all started with a single trailer.

In 1954, founder Makoto Kimura started a used textile sorting business, a job that many people didn't want to do at the time. However, believing that "giving new life to discarded things" was a creative and wonderful job, he expanded his business.

In 1973, I founded Kimura Textile Co., Ltd. In 1985, my encounter with young people who came to Japan from the Philippines became a turning point. Their earnest dedication to work led to an experience of connecting not through words, but through our hearts.
Makoto Kimura often said, "Nationality doesn't matter. If we sweat together, we can become family." The culture of trust at Marvelous Frontier was born from this spirit.

If you cherish the one thing in front of you, the world will change someday.

The "trust" and "on-site capabilities" built by the founder over many years form the foundation upon which current CEO Hideyuki Kimura has continually taken on new challenges, growing the company into one with an international supply chain handling over 10,000 tons of fiber annually.

OUR GROWTH PHILOSOPHY

A Will to Grow Story

"Asunaro" refers to the arborvitae tree. The founder saw their own image reflected in the tree's growth and aspiration to "one day, surely become a cypress."

A business that was once a sapling will eventually become a forest.
However, to cultivate the forest, many companions are needed. Therefore, while planting the tree of business, we have also planted the tree of "human resources" and cultivated the forest of "human assets."

That forest continues to spread across borders even now.
Tomorrow can be better—the belief that businesses and people grow together.
That is the spirit of asunaro in Marvelous Frontier.
